Hi! My name’s Maggie and I’m a romance and fantasy author.

I can’t remember the time in my life when I didn’t love getting completely lost in the stories and other worlds.

My parents used to say they’d never say ‘no’ to buying me books; until it got to the point I was pretty much reading a book per day during school holidays. I was marched up to the town’s library and told to make use of it.

So I did.

I’ve been a voracious reader ever since. Naturally, I tried my hand in writing short stories and fan fiction. That turned into English creative writing classes when I was in high school; the short stories I wrote during that time were so dark and depressing that I wish I could give younger me a big hug. Anyway, I moved to the UK in 2013 for the university and…

I’ve just stopped writing. And reading. I’m not sure what happened but it took me almost ten years to find that joy again. When I did, I grabbed it with both hands and started writing in earnest in 2022. I haven’t looked back.

I’m currently studying Medicine as a graduate student. I live in Scotland with my husband and our two terriers. When I’m not studying Medicine, writing, reading or working, I love cooking, eating out and exploring. I have a bucket list of Scottish Castles’ and love taking people on tours to places I’ve been to already! I also enjoy good single malt whisky and red wine.
